These are among the big questions we ask ourselves, sometimes silently. They can keep us up at night, haunt us at work, lead us to question our relationships and how we make a living. We want to be known, seen, understood, appreciated. We want a sense of integrity, to know we’re okay, to feel seen. More than anything, we want to know we’re not alone.
Of course, we are never truly alone. We are vital members of complex ecosystems, intricately woven into the universe, and our connections are innumerable. Yet we experience isolation and confusion. We yearn for a sense of rootedness.
As a spiritual director or formation coach, I accompany numerous people through their diverse experiences in their journey toward a sense of wholeness. Whatever gives you a sense of breathlessness, together we can find life-giving oxygen and a sense of becoming that imbues life with purpose, direction, and vitality.
